Linzi Coppick of Forme creates interiors for new COMO Metropolitan residences in London
COMO Metropolitan hotel in London has opened ten luxury residences, offering private apartment-style accommodation adjacent to the hotel and opposite Hyde Park.
The Residences offer the same five-star facilities and service as the hotel, which is a one-minute walk away, including access to the hotel's holistic wellness centre, COMO Shambhala Urban Escape.
Inside, designer Linzi Coppick of Forme UK has prioritised a sense of home. Natural daylight floods the apartments, augmented by contemporary design with subtle warmth and bespoke artwork by Marta Suarez.
The two-bedroom residences have access to a courtyard designed by landscape architect Peter Curzon, shared only with the other residences, with contemporary furniture from iSiMAR.
In the open-plan living and dining area, natural wood floors and furniture from BO Concept create an entertainment area adapted to the modern traveller.
A fully-equipped Lauren Nicholas kitchen blends a white palette with marble countertops, incorporating breakfast-bar seating for more laid back meals. For formal dining, a dark wood BO Concept table can extend to seat eight people, while a large corner sofa and a reading chair in warm grey leather to create a space for relaxation.
Forme UK were also responsible for the recent refurbishment of the COMO Shambhala Urban Escape and the Met Bar, as well as the COMO Metropolitan Hotel, where they used a fresh palette of natural hues and textures with accents of vibrant colours to create a synergy throughout.
