Clinique La Prairie creates exclusive longevity journeys for Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London
– Simone Gibertoni
Swiss longevity clinic Clinique La Prairie (CLP) and luxury London hotel Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park have collaborated to launch all-new wellness programming.
Called Regeneration experiences, the two new journeys feature longevity protocols and nutraceuticals to create a shift in the balance of an individual’s wellbeing.
They are designed to take guests on a personalised path to recover from everyday life stressors that can physically drain them, impair their resilience and diminish the skin’s vitality.
Underpinned by preventative nutrition, they have been designed exclusively for Mandarin Oriental and focus on targetting antioxidation, anti-inflammation and cell regeneration.
This launch marks the first time that CLP has begun hosting workshops and nutritional consultations outside of its Swiss clinic and international hubs, and the first time its experiences will be available in the UK. The treatments have a starting cost of £910 (US$1,120, €1,034).
The new treatments
CLP Longevity Nutritional Consultation – 60-minutes This experience is designed to build a detailed picture of the guest’s lifestyle and leave them with a unique roadmap, set to support their long-term journey.
The session includes three phases: a thorough nutritional assessment with nutritionist and naturopath Lauren Windas, the construction of a bespoke diet plan and a recommendation about which of CLP's range of Holistic Health nutraceuticals will best serve the guest's needs and support their wellbeing.
Regenerating Ritual – three hours
This programme has been co-created by CLP and Mandarin Oriental and contains signature treatments from both companies.
It starts with a signature CLP healthy mocktail which is enjoyed during a nutritional consultation with Windas. This is followed by a True Skin Age Consultation, an Anti-Ageing Facial and a full-body Intelligent Movement massage treatment.
As part of the programme, the attendee will receive a two-month supply of CLP’s Age-Defy Holistic Health supplements and a gift bag and also be entitled to a follow-up virtual session with a nutritionist to help foster healthy practices at home.
An exclusive partnershipCLP’s head of innovation and nutrition, Olga Donica, revealed to Spa Business that CLP selected Mandarin Oriental as the first partner for the new journeys because of the synergy between the two luxury brands and their joint passion for high-end guest experiences and wellness.
Simone Gibertoni, CEO of CLP, said: “We’re honoured to be partnering with Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London. Together, our teams have combined expert knowledge and top-tier luxury to ensure exceptional experiences at the highest standards to deliver tailor-made guides to overhaul one’s lifestyle.”
Jamie Pagan, Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London’s senior director of spa and wellness, added: “We’re delighted to be the first hotel spa to develop a wellness relationship with CLP in London and thrilled to be able to integrate its class-leading expertise into our spa offering providing transformational experiences for our guests”.
Thanks to the new partnership, CLP’s Holistic Health supplements – Age Defy, Purity, Balance and Energy – can now be purchased at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park.
2023 is already off to a strong start for CLP, as the new programming follows the news of the brand's new Longevity Hub opening in Doha. Furthermore, CLP has recently announced plans to open a luxury wellbeing resort at the vast Saudi giga-project Amaala as is due to unveil its flagship resort in China this year.
