Phantasialand to host SATE Academy Day in July
The Themed Entertainment Association (TEA) is to hold a SATE (Storytelling, Architecture, Technology, Experience) Academy Day at Germany’s Phantasialand in July.
Taking place on 3 July and 4 July, the experience will start with an individual visit of the park, followed by a showing of JUMP!, the park’s sporting show which combines trampolinists, stilts jumpers, BMX riders and break dancers for a dynamic, choreographed performance.
Following the show, attendees will meet in the Berlin section for a group walk through the Tartüff fun house, followed by a ride and backstage tour of the “Maus au Chocolat” interactive dark ride by ETF and Alterface.
The first day’s event will conclude with dinner in the African hotel restaurant “Zambesi” and a mixer in the Matamba hotel bar.
Monday’s schedule starts with three presentations (speakers to be confirmed) at the Ling Bao Hotel. Following that, attendees will be given a guided tour of Phantasialand with focus on new developments from the park in recent years, including the new Chiapas flume ride and the new “Klugheim” theme area. The day ends with an individual visit of the park, with optional show visits.
Tickets are available for TEA members at US$125 (€110, £88) per person or for US$700 (€620, £490) for non members. For more information, click here.
