Mövenpick Hotel Riyadh has opened an all-female spa in collaboration with GCC TV personality Joelle Mardinian. The Aurora Spa by Joelle is the first spa project for Mardinian, who is also an influential fashion and make-up expert in the Middle East.
The Aurora Spa features six therapy rooms, whirlpools and a traditional Oriental hammam, as well as dedicated female-only access from the parking area and hotel. The spa uses products by Thalion.
“The opening of Aurora Spa by Joelle is a fantastic opportunity for female Saudi residents and visitors to experience unique spa treatments,” said Philippe Bonnot, general manager of Mövenpick Hotel Riyadh. “From employing female therapists to creating facilities exclusively for women, our goal is to make the hotel as friendly as possible for ladies.”
Mardinian said she is excited to be involved in a spa project.
“I love to engage with projects that aim to enhance the beauty of women everywhere; hence, we have spent a considerable time with designers, architects and a host of other professionals to make sure the spa meets all expectations, with every individual part being of an extremely high standard,” she said. “I am certain our guests will love the new Aurora Spa.”
