Healing Hotels launches virtual retreat in partnership with international wellness practitioners
– Corinna Yap
Anne Biging and Elisabeth Ixmeier, co-founders of Healing Hotels of the World, have partnered with five healing specialists to co-host a digital retreat during lockdown.
The two-day event is designed to guide participants to develop a renewed sense of self-awareness and positivity, despite the current world circumstances.
The schedule will include shamanic healing sessions, meditation and movement classes and intention setting sessions, as well as cooking and mindful eating advice and Q&A sessions for participants to reflect and share what they learned during the retreat.
The five healing practitioners specialise in a range of professions, including occupations such as holistic practitioners, shamanic healers and life coaches
Biging and Ixmeier want the retreat to enable people to better understand and connect with their body and discover how to use movement and meditation as a means to refresh it.
Healing Hotels has partnered with life and business coach, meditation teacher and healer, Velleda Dobrowolny, body-mind cognition specialist, Gary Joplin and Sandeep Argawalla, a mindfulness and yoga expert with an MA in Yoga Physiology who has helped develop wellness programmes at Ananda in the Himalayas.
“This retreat will transform participant's surroundings into a digital temple for two days,” said Biging. “They'll find a place of peace and contentment, and our expert healers will help them experience a refreshed state of mind."
The group of practitioners also includes energy work and Shamanism specialist, Elizabeth Cocoann Galis, and Sharada Rumi, meditation and spiritual wellness expert.
The retreat is scheduled for 27 and 28 June at 9AM - 2:30PM EDT and costs US$425 per person (£338, €377) or US$700 (£557, €621) for two people.
