Siari, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, to open later this year on Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit
Siari, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is expected to open in the private club community of Nauka on Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit later this year with its own Ritz-Carlton Spa.
Designed by Mexico City-based firm Bernardi+Peschard Arquitectura, the resort will have 39 four- and five-bedroom residences and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel will have 90 bedrooms.
The property will sit within an 800-acre untouched estate called Nauka, which will have a range of residential neighbourhoods, including villas with beach views, cliff estates and golf villas.
The entire project is being brought to life by real estate developer Life Properties International, which is also involved in the Caye Chapel community development that is due to open in 2026, in Belize, with a Four Seasons Resort.
The spa
Spa details have not yet been revealed, but the concept is inspired by the indigenous Huichol community’s connection to the sea and its understanding of renewal, rooted in nature.
The website says: “For the indigenous Huichol, nature is something to be revered and a place to find refuge, a symbol of our ability to restore and heal regardless of what the seasons bring. The spa is an extension and expression of this belief, offering a space where touch and natural elements nourish and transform.”
Spa treatments, inspired by ancient practices native to Nayarit, will range from individual mud baths and group cacao ceremonies to personalised massage therapies and jungle sound bathing.
Wellness experiences are also set to include seasonal thought-leader speaker sessions and dinner series.
In addition to the spa, the hotel will have a fitness centre and multiple pools.
Other amenities
The entire Nauka estate stretches across a landscape of mountains, jungle, volcanic cliffs and more than two miles of private Pacific beachfront.
Guests and residents will be able to explore the diverse terrain via trail running, hikes, beach volleyball games, seasonal whale watching, surf lessons, e-foiling, fishing and many more activities.
Other major facilities at the property include an 18-hole Tom Fazio Championship golf course, a marina and yacht club, multiple restaurants and beach clubs, as well as a sports park with courts for various games and a racquet club.
