Sanctuary at Camelback Mountain will create wellness with private Spa House
The Sanctuary at Camelback Mountain, a resort in America's Paradise Valley, is in the final stages of developing its Spa House, a 3,500sq ft (312sq m), four-bedroom private mountain home dedicated to wellness.
Set to open in April 2016, the Spa House – designed by Arizona-based interior design firm Testani Design Troupe and architecture firm MoD A+P – features three king bedrooms and one guestroom with two double beds. The entire enclave will accommodate groups of up to 16, and can be used for retreats and special occasion getaways.
The Spa House includes a double treatment room for in-home massages as well as a movement studio for private classes or personal training with yoga mats, Pilates reformers, indoor cycling, free weights and other equipment.
Distinct spa-centric amenities will further enhance the wellness experience, including a Sanctuary Superpower minibar of specialty snacks such as raw nuts, organic dark chocolate and coconut water.
Guests will also have access to Sanctuary's 53-acre property, including the Sanctuary Spa, which features 12 indoor and outdoor treatment rooms as well as a Zen meditation garden and reflecting pond.
Specialised programming, such as sunrise yoga on the courtyard lawn, water aerobics in the private pool, professionally-led storytelling and astronomer-guided stargazing can also arranged for guests.
