David Lloyd refurbs luxury Harbour Club Chelsea health club and gym

The Harbour Club Chelsea health club and gym has undergone a recent refurbishment aimed at giving it a "stylish" and "ultra-modern" new look and feel.

The luxury facility is one of three Harbour Clubs all of which are owned and operated by the David Lloyd Leisure Group and located in West London, with sites in Kensington and Notting Hill also.

Five of the club's studios have been updated, including the Mind & Body studio for holistic classes, the High Energy workouts studio, its two Reformer Pilates studios and the Group Cycling area.

There's also a newly created studio for BLAZE high-intensity classes, which combine cardio, strength and combat elements and make use of MYZONE heart-rate monitoring technology.

The centre's newly revamped gym now includes five mobility and stretching massagers, Woodway Performance treadmills, Stages Solo bikes and Eleiko performance dumbbells, while its 12 tennis courts have been resurfaced and fitted with improved lighting.

Elsewhere, the reception area has been reconfigured and the changing facilities have been updated with marble-finished shower cubicles, gold-effect mirrors and private changing areas for individuals and families.

Other facilities on offer include three swimming pools, a spa area, a lounge with adults' area, a family zone, an outdoor terrace area where food and drink is served, an on-site dry cleaner, hairdressers and a sports clothing and racquets shop.
