Rick Stollmeyer, founder of fitness tech giant, Mindbody, has joined the board of tech startup Yoga Experiences Africa, a business founded by University of Edinburgh student, Judith Nduati.
Nuduati today was announced as the winner of the Sharktank of Wellness contest at the Global Wellness Summit in Miami, winning the top prize of $US5,000.
Yoga Experiences Africa is developing a platform to list and validate yoga instructors and match them with consumers across the emerging wellness sector in Africa.
Stollmeyer started Mindbody in 2000, following a career in the US Navy, growing it to a multi million dollar business before leading it though an IPO in 2015 and exiting in 2021.
