Four Seasons to expand luxury Mexico collection

by Megan Whitby | 03 Dec 2019
With our second property on the Baja Peninsula, we are excited to offer another opportunity to live and stay with Four Seasons in the Cabo region.
– John Davison, president and CEO, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts has announced plans to add a fourth Mexican Resort – Four Seasons Resort and Residences Cabo San Lucas at Cabo Del Sol – which is slated to open in 2022.

The 80-key resort will be built on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula, with 40 private residences, sitting on more than 50 oceanfront acres.

The property will be developed under a partnership between Four Seasons and Oakmont Corporation, a Los Angeles-based family office.

With an ocean and mountain backdrop, the destination will offer a signature Four Seasons spa, fitness centre, dining options and a private beach and golf club – The Cove.

Private residence owners will have the opportunity to purchase a club membership and will be able to visit the resort’s mountain adventure park La Montaña.

Membership will include access to a private beach club, beachfront dining, a private golf club, pool, family park, signature member services and an outdoor adventure programme.

The Cove Club will also feature an organic farm and garden offering, as well as sea- and farm-to-table dining experiences.

“With our second property on the Baja Peninsula, we are excited to offer another opportunity to live and stay with Four Seasons in the Cabo region,” said John Davison, president and CEO, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

“Together with our partners at Oakmont, guests and residents will enjoy the adventure and activity that Cabo San Lucas is known for, with the luxury experiences and service that are the hallmarks of our brand.”

Robert Day, CEO of Oakmont Corporation, said: “Four Seasons’ commitment to providing the ultimate guest and resident experience is perfectly aligned with our own, and will serve to establish a new standard of excellence in Cabo’s Golden Corridor.”

Four Seasons hotel group is now operating 117 hotel resorts internationally, with 50 projects in planning or under development.
