Former Swim England CEO Adam Paker takes helm at Swimming Nature
– Adam Paker, CEO, Swimming Nature
Adam Paker, the former chief executive of Swim England and Commonwealth Games England, has been named the new head of Swimming Nature.
Paker takes the reins from Eduardo Ferre, who founded the personalised swimming tuition business in 1993. Ferre is moving into the role of product director to concentrate on the delivery of tuition.
“I strongly believe there is more potential to unlock in the swimming tuition market and intend to work closely with the teams at Swimming Nature to build on the strengths of the business, so we can take the brand further and wider to teach more people to swim and to swim beautifully,” said Paker.
Swimming Nature recently reported exponential growth of its pool network, which included signing deals with Bannatyne, Q Hotels and Hilton.
Paker has been tasked with driving growth across the business and creating an international pool network.
During his time at Swim England, which is formally known as the ASA, Paker was credited as being instrumental in reversing the decline of participation numbers for swimming, using an insight-led approach and data-driven methods.
