TRIB3 set to open in Leeds and Moscow
– Kevin Yates, chief executives
TRIB3 will be adding two studios to its portfolio this week, with the opening of a 4,500sq ft (418sq m) club in Leeds, West Yorkshire, and the boutique gym’s first European site in the Russian capital of Moscow.
The Leeds studio, which has space for 36 people, will feature lighting created by Lightmasters, with cardio equipment provided by Star Track. It will also feature Safe Space lockers and MYZONE technology.
Sheffield company Ovo Spaces has fitted out the studio.
TRIB3, which has three studios in Sheffield, announced earlier this year that it was planning to open its first overseas site in Moscow.
The 5,000sq ft (465sq m) studio is part of its continued growth, with a gym in Barcelona, Spain, set to follow in January.
“With more than 15 franchisees already signed up to take a TRIB3 store, our main goal is to secure the European market and our openings in Leeds and Moscow, with Barcelona to follow in early 2018, we are well on target to meet our goals,” said TRIB3 chief executive Kevin Yates.
Co-founded by Yates, Dan Summerson and David Cross and partners, the TRIB3 concept is based around high intensity group workouts. The HIIT workout is based around treadmills (cardiovascular), resistance (weights) and intensity (heart rate), and sessions can burn up to 1,000 calories.
