Pullman unveils a comprehensive wellbeing offer

by Rebecca Barnes | 01 Feb 2017

Pullman Hotels and Resorts has designed a complete wellness offer for fitness and spa, embracing four themes: Balance + Energy + Detox + Age Defence.

Based on the universal pillars of wellness - Sleep, Food, Sport and Spa - the concept and core brand markers have been created following an extensive 18 month period of research, review and expert collaboration, as well as a comprehensive five month piloting process and best practice monitoring in strategic hotels within the Pullman network.

With a focus on the guest (the millennial frequent traveller), Pullman’s aim is to engage with and address their needs as nomads who want to enjoy wellbeing experiences wherever they may be heading.

“We believe that wellbeing should be accessible to everybody, no matter where you are, which time zone you’re in, how your schedule reads, or what your personal wellbeing practice is,” said Aldina Duarte Ramos, director of wellbeing, Sofitel Legend, SO Sofitel, Sofitel, Swissôtel & Pullman.

“We want to help our guests stay on track with their lives so that travelling doesn’t have to disrupt their routine. We believe we have a role to play in contributing to a healthier generation of travellers.”

Pullman is also proud to introduce the appointment of the Pullman Wellness Coach, Sarah Hoey, whose mission is to "help a whole new generation of travelers thrive while on the go".

Guests are able to book sessions with Sarah at various sites; these are now underway and Pullman have already had lots of positive feedback from guests.

The Pullman Wellness programme will be launched at Dubai City centre on March 29. The schedule includes:

- In-room morning and evening yoga routine videos

- Active breakfast options including detox, age-defence, detox and energy- 7 minute workout videos, featuring detox, age-defence, detox and energy programmes

- Yoga fit videos- Treatment spa options addressing detox, age-defence, detox and energy needs.

By the end of 2017, 10 Pullman properties will offer the complete Pullman Wellness Programme.
