Dubai Parks and Resorts introduces happiness fund for its staff
The under-development Dubai Parks and Resorts has launched a new employee “happiness fund” designed to improve the lives and wellbeing of its staff.
Made up of employees’ voluntary contributions, the fund will provide grants to staff members for events such as births, wedding anniversaries, life events and for medical assistance.
The vision falls in line with that of the UAE, which formed its own Ministry of Happiness in February this year, with Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum also introducing the UAE National Charter for Happiness and Positivity in March.
“The current decision by the UAE to introduce efforts that promote happiness and positivity for all residents will have a considerable influence on society as a whole,” said Raed Kajoor Al Nuaimi, CEO of Dubai Parks and Resorts.
“We remain in the business of fun, so it is extremely essential for all our workers to make sure that every interaction with a consumer is a pleased and enjoyable moment.
“Dubai Parks and Resorts new Happiness Fund will be moneyed by workers for workers and will provide our whole staff with access to the fund to enhance their happiness.”
