Global live streaming for forthcoming Retention Convention
Health club operators across the globe are being offered the chance to gain key business insights from industry renowned retention experts, via a live stream of next month’s Retention Convention.
The one-day Retention Convention is being led by retention specialist and Health Club Management contributor Dr Paul Bedford, who will explain how to develop a strategy to improve member retention.
The sold out show will be live streamed across the world on 14 May, enabling operators from all four corners of the globe to learn from the experts what impacts on retention, key components of a retention strategy and why measuring attrition is irrelevant.
Filmed by the same production team that do TED Talks events in Europe, attendees will be able to watch all five sessions live and join in by posting live questions on Twitter using the hashtag #retentionconvention.
“The purpose of the day will be to explore how retention can impact on business behaviour,” said Bedford, who is director of Retention Guru.
“The emergence of the low cost sector has created challenges for all operators, including themselves, and clubs need to look at improving their retention to retain a profitable business. Operations directors, senior managers and anyone who who has a role in keeping members happy should not miss this event.”
Bedford will be joined by several high-profile retention specialists, including Health Club Management contributor Dr Melvyn Hillsdon, EuropeActive board member Jan Middelkamp, fitness and exercise data expert and GG Fit director Guy Griffiths, plus former global director of member experience at Fitness First Rob Gregory.
