Abu Dhabi Plaza Complex planned for Kazakhstan
The Abu Dhabi Plaza Complex in Astana, Kazakhstan will open to the public in November 2016, in time for the Economic Expo 2017 which will be held in the capital city.
Abu Dhabi-based Alder Properties and Arabtec Holding have awarded a AED4bn contract to an Arabtec-led JV for the development.
The 500,000sq m (5.4m sq ft) mixed use project will comprise five towers, the tallest of which will measure 320m (3,400ft)
The complex will contain 566 luxury apartments, a five-star hotel with additional serviced apartments, a 50,000sq m (538,000sq ft) retail podium , 107,000sq m (1.8m sq ft) of commercial office space.
The new 24-hour destination is a response to the growth in the number of visitors to Kazakhstan’s capital city.
Aldar Properties aims to make Abu Dhabi Plaza a new benchmark for accommodation standards, work and leisure facilities.
