JW Marriott to open world's tallest hotel in Dubai
JW Marriott is set to open JW Marriott Marquis - the world's tallest hotel - in February 2013.
The 836ft (355m) JW Marriott Marquis Hotel in Dubai will be spread across two towers, with the first already soft-opened. The first tower features 804 rooms and suites and three of its nine restaurants. The grand opening in February will see the opening of a further 804 rooms and six restaurants.
Located in the centre of the Business Bay, the 1,608-room hotel will feature a Saray Spa offering a range of treatments including body scrubs and wraps, eye treatments, hair and scalp therapies and facials.
The spa will house a lap pool, steamroom and saunas. A selection of couples massages will also be on offer.
Wellness facilities will also be available to guests including fitness counselling and a range of fitness classes.
Dining options include Kitchin 6, an international buffet, Italian restaurant Positano, Indian restaurant Rang Mahal, and Tong Thai serving Thai dishes.
Other facilities include two ballrooms, 24 meeting rooms and 5,100sq m (54,896 sq ft) of event space.
