Cryotherapy supplier Art of Cryo has created a new 12-person walkthrough cryotherapy chamber at Cryo Center Coolzone Madeira, claimed to be the largest cold therapy treatment experience in the world.

Described as “the Bugatti of cold chambers”, Art of Cryo says the 48sq m Unical Vaultz V12 is not only the longest and widest cryotherapy chamber in the world, but it’s also the first-ever walk-through one.

Guests begin their journey in a room cooled to -10°C, progress into another at chilled to -60°C and then reach the culmination of their experience – the largest cryo chamber room cooled to -110°C.

After their bracing cryo kick, guests retreat to a final area, chilled to -60°C.

Rainer Bolsinger, company CMO, said: “It’s a beautiful thing when technology and passion come together. Having 12 people in a -110°C cryotherapy chamber is pure luxury and everyone has the freedom to move and stretch.”

He says the experience is perfect for group sessions between family and friends, sports teams and business teams and also offers a unique tourism destination in Madeira.

Complementary treatments
In addition to the large new chamber, Art of Cryo has kitted out Coolzone Madeira with its first Multi Cryo-Hacking System (MCS), designed as a 12-metre-long experience tunnel.

The experience starts with a cocktail of light therapy, ionised oxygen therapy, aromatherapy and long-wave heat therapy in the MCS. Coolzone Madeira’s MCS also features sound therapy modalities.

Next comes Art of Cryo’s electric Vaultz cryo chambers where guests experience programmes tailored to their needs. The third and final pillar involves intermittent vacuum therapy in the Art of Cryo gravity Flow System to stimulate the lymphatic system.

To measure guests’ physiological changes and progress, they undergo pre- and post-treatment 3D body scans, have a breath analysis and get feedback from wearing a smart ring called the MCRC Vital X.

Facilities also include a luxury four-seater hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber, a doctor’s consultation room and a juice bar.

Art of Cryo is set to redefine wellbeing standards in the Middle East this February and install the region’s first Tec-Spa Module (TSM) in Riyadh at the Deem Spa by Kadoon Company.

The TSM is a biohacking solution that combines three Art of Cryo appliances to create a complete journey.

Step one: The MCS

The 4.2m-long chamber features unique flush doors, extra-large windows and embedded multi-coloured lighting for chromotherapy. To take the experience to the next level Art of Cryo integrated light-guided breathwork and soothing music.

Step three: The Flow system
