First Buddha-Bar Beach opens its doors in Mauritius

The latest venue from the Buddha-Bar 'eatertainment' brand has launched at Sugar Beach resort in Mauritius. The new bohemian-inspired bar and restaurant, which was designed by Dubai-based architecture studio Bishop Design, features two dining areas, as well as an outdoor terrace and lounge. Hospitality group Alila has opened a second location in China, converting a historic sugar mill into a 117-bedroom “modern retro” resort in Guilin, overlooking the Li River.
