Natural & Organic Products Asia show kicks off next week

by Helen Andrews | 22 Aug 2014

More than 140 exhibitors from 25 countries are expected to attend the Natural & Organic Products Asia trade show at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in China between 27 and 29 August.

Retailers, distributors, health and beauty practitioners will converge on the site to network and showcase natural products that span the entire healthy living industry from spa supplies, cosmetics, health and fitness products and nutritional supplements to household cleaning products.

“Demand for safe, sustainable food and beauty products is creating a huge market for natural products in Asia as incomes rise and consumers demand healthier options for themselves and their families,” said Stuart Bailey, general manager of event organiser Diversified Communications Hong Kong.

Four specific areas for business opportunities have been highlighted by the organiser: natural food; health and nutrition; natural living; and natural beauty and spa. There will be specialist pavilions dedicated to these four areas where exhibitions and talks will take place.

Visitors will also have the chance to visit the Organic Kitchen, where tips for a greener lifestyle will be delivered – promoting the benefits of vegetarianism. The Natural Beauty Studio is a separate hub within the convention centre that will showcase new trends, products and techniques – guided by beauty specialists and wellness experts. A third zone, called The Wellness Theatre, will feature talks by nutrition experts on topics such as superfoods, functional ingredients, advances in natural treatments and the development of the health and supplement market.

Natural & Organic Products Asia is a sister exhibition to Natural & Organic Products Europe, which welcomed record numbers of delegates and exhibitors to its 18th show in April this year. Held in London, it attracted more than 9,500 industry professionals from 77 countries and featured 550 exhibiting companies.
