Jo Fairley of Green & Black's to speak at UK Spa Life event in November
The sixth annual Spa Life UK event will take place between 10-11 November 2015 with confirmed keynote speakers to include Jo Fairley, co-founder of Green & Black's organic chocolate company, and Andrew McMillan – a customer service strategy specialist from John Lewis Department Stores.
This year’s event will be hosted in Stratford-Upon-Avon, the birthplace of Shakespeare, at the Moat House International Hotel. It will feature the Spa Life Forum, a supplier showcase and expo, the UK Spa & Wellness Conference, plus a champagne reception and networking gala dinner.
Jo Fairley, chair of a committee for the Soil Association and a contributing editor to YOU magazine, will share trade tips with attendees. In May 2014, Fairley teamed up with perfume expert Lorna McKay to launch a website and subscription organisation for scent-lovers called The Perfume Society.
Andrew McMillan is expected to talk about his expertise in customer service – which he has honed while working across the department store division at John Lewis Department Stores for the past eight of his 28-year career at the company.
The conference programme has been developed by Spa Life to improve the quality of management education to the UK’s rapidly developing spa and wellness sector. It is aimed at all spa and wellness professionals, including those who work in sectors such as spa, hospitality, health and fitness, local authority leisure clubs, salon owners and operators.
Last year’s Spa Life event was held at Center Parcs Woburn Forest.
