ISPA announces virtual Spa Reopening Town Hall series
– Lynne McNees
ISPA has announced it’s hosting a series of virtual Spa Reopening Town Halls to share insights and observations of spa leaders who’ve reopened businesses as lockdown eases.
Each ISPA Town Hall will focus on a specific topic and be led by a panel of spa professionals with hands-on experience leading, supporting or participating in a spa reopening.
The series will launch 3 June at 2:00pm EST and continue each Wednesday until at least 24 June.
As spas around the world continue to navigate toward reopening and beyond, these meetings are designed to provide the opportunity for spa industry members to share with and learn from one another.
Registration for the town halls is complementary to both ISPA members and nonmembers, and participants will be able to submit questions to panellists during the events.
“There is no substitute for experience, and ISPA is confident that providing a space for those in our industry to share real-world feedback, identify areas of opportunity and determine additional needs will help others reopen their spas safely and successfully,” said ISPA President Lynne McNees.
“We’re so grateful to those within the spa industry who’ve volunteered to share their experiences, and we’re excited to offer this resource for the industry to come together to support one another during this time.”
The first ISPA Town Hall will address preparing staff and planning back-of-house operations prior to reopening. The following meetings will focus on guest experience, financial planning and innovative reopening ideas.
Panellists are in the process of being finalised, and the participants will be revealed prior to each event.
Registration is open for the first event on June 3 – click here to sign up.
