ISPA Innovate Awards winners announced
Twelve wellness industry companies have been awarded 2016 ISPA Innovate Awards, in the categories of Experiences, Philanthropic Initiatives, Products and Treatments.
To determine the winners, International Spa Association members reviewed award submissions from candidates around the globe and cast their votes for the ideas they found most innovative in each of the four categories.
In the Experiences category, the three winners are:
• Australian destination spa Gwinganna Lifestyle Retreat, which won for its retreat for guest over the age of 50, focusing on positive ageing and preventative medicine
• Spafinder Wellness 365, which won for its Wellness App that allows guests to book, review and pay for spa services through their phones• Spa Gregorie’s, for its innovative game-oriented training module for staff
In the Philanthropic Initiatives, the three winners are:
• Eminence Organic Skin Care, which won for its Forest for the Future programme, in partnership with the organisation Trees for the Future
• FarmHouse Fresh, for its Dog Bed Fairy initiative, which donates proceeds from the Dog Bed Fairy book sales to animal shelters• Global Wellness Day, for its annual celebration of wellness worldwide each June
In the Products category, the three winners are:
• Coola Sun Care, for its beauty collection• Saltability, for its Himalayan salt stone warmers
• Salt of the Earth, for its Blend Box
In the Treatments category, the three winners are:• Jindilli, for its Showerless Full Body Scrub treatment with BoomaGlam tool
• Four Seasons Resort Oahu, for its multicultural Ha’okahi Ritual• The Spa at Meadowood Napa Valley, for its private spa suites
