Landlord says Life Time will “contribute to the building’s transformation”

Life Time – which yesterday did a US$150m sales and leaseback deal on three of its properties – is continuing to build out its portfolio by launching an urban country club in the 30-storey, Manhattan tower at 10 Bryant in the heart of New York City.

Scheduled to open in early 2027, the 52,000sq ft club will operate on four levels, with a Fifth Avenue entrance and neighbours including Amazon, Bank of America, Salesforce, Bloomberg and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Included will be a gym floor and six studios for group exercise classes, including Fight Conditioning, MB360, GTX, Barre and Pilates.

Also in the mix will be steamrooms, saunas, hot tubs and cold plunges, as well as a dedicated recovery space with hydro massage chairs, whole body compression technology, percussion devices, metabolic testing, recovery treatments and nutrition coaching.

Co-working facilities will be offered in the a Life Time Work Lounge.

"Bringing Life Time to 10 Bryant and the Bryant Park area is key as we grow our network of athletic country clubs throughout New York City," said Parham Javaheri, chief property development officer and president of club operations at Life Time.

"This vibrant, high-profile location offers the energy, visibility and accessibility we seek," he said.

10 Bryant is owned and managed by Property and Building Corp, a real estate development and investment firm focused on urban regeneration projects.

"Signing Life Time is a pivotal step in the repositioning of 10 Bryant, further enhancing its status in [New York's] Midtown," said CEO, Eli Elefant. "Its commitment to wellness and innovation will not only elevate the tenant experience, but also contribute to the building's transformation into a hub for modern living and working"

Life Time operates seven sites on Manhattan at Battery Park, Midtown, NoHo, One Wall Street, Penn 1, Sky, and 23rd Street, as well as two clubs in Brooklyn at Atlantic Avenue and DUMBO, with more in development including Brooklyn Tower, which is also set for a 2027 opening.
