Event marks opening of Arena Lviv
Ukraine's new Arena Lviv, one of the venues to host games at next year's UEFA European Football Championship, has been opened with a special ceremony.
It is the fourth and final ground to be constructed for next summer's tournament in Ukraine, which is co-hosting the event with neighbouring country Poland.
Arena Lviv has been designed by Vienna, Austria-based Albert Wimmer and has cost around UAH875m (£68.7m, EUR79.7m, US$109.3m). It was delivered by Altkom.
The stadium has a capacity of nearly 35,000 seats, reduced to 32,767 for Euro 2012. It boasts 19 fast food outlets on the promenade and a further seven on the outer perimeter.
Ukraine president Viktor Yanukovych said: "This is a stadium for young football fans who will bring their children and grandchildren here in years to come."
In addition to Arena Lviv, the Ukrainian venues to host games at Euro 2012 include Kiev's Olympic Stadium, which opened in early October.
Donbass Arena, Donetsk and the Metalist Stadium, Kharkiv, are the other venues in Ukraine to host Euro 2012 fixtures, along with Warsaw, Poznan, Gdansk and Wroclaw in Poland.
