Art-inspired urban spa to launch at stylish new London hotel, Art’otel London Hoxton

by Megan Whitby | 09 May 2024

Art’otel, Radisson’s contemporary art-inspired lifestyle hotel brand, has strengthened its presence in London with a new hotel in Hoxton fusing art, design and hospitality.

The location features 357 art-inspired guest bedrooms and suites all with skyline views as well as 48 luxury suites.

Collaborating with interior design studio Digital Space, signature artist D*Face’s works adorn all bedrooms and public spaces, from sculptures to murals. Notable exterior features include two Banksy original artworks and a striking cogwheel design conceived by Squire & Partners architects, reflecting the hotel's vibrant atmosphere and creativity.

The hotel is set to introduce a wellness facility later this summer, featuring a luxury spa equipped with four treatment rooms; showcasing products and treatments from Proverb.

Spa rituals will range from massages to facials, nail treatments and full body experiences, all with a playful Art’otel twist.

A skyline gym is also due to launch on the 26th floor and join the hotel’s existing indoor swimming pool, sauna, steamroom and gym.

This is the second UK opening for the Art’otel brand, following the opening of Art’otel London Battersea Power Station in February 2023.

Art’otel is a contemporary collection of lifestyle hotels – each inspired by a signature artist – and designed to offer a cultural, gastronomic and social hub in ‘the most creative areas of the most interesting cities’.

Alongside the London destinations, the group's portfolio includes properties in Amsterdam, Zagreb, Berlin and Cologne.

The seventh Art’otel location is set to open in Rome in 2024.

More about Art’otel London Hoxton

On the ground and first floor, guests can visit an all-day Grand Cafe, Lounge & Cocktail Bar with an outdoor terrace. Later in the year, a destination restaurant will launch on the 25th floor, offering outdoor terraces with 360° views of the capital.

The hotel also features flexible event spaces on the 24th floor, set to launch later in the summer, providing panoramic city views.

Radisson emphasises cultural and artistic events through its Art’beat programme –focused on art, music fashion and wellness – which it says is integral to the guest experience.

To showcase the Art’beat programme, the property features a 135sq m gallery hosting exclusive works from signature artist D*Face and other local emerging artists. Guests of the hotel, as well as members of the public, can discover the exhibition space, where art, music, fashion, and wellness converge.
