Holiday property plans for historic Kent folly

A restored Grade I-listed gothic revival folly in Kent is set to be turned into 'luxury holiday accommodation' under plans announced by the Vivat Trust. The trust has taken over ownership of Hadlow Tower from Tonbridge and Malling Borough Council and will now commence work on the repair and restoration of the property. Aberdeen Football Club (AFC) has been given the green light to proceed with proposals for a new 21,000-seat stadium on land near Loirston Loch. Aberdeen City Council's full council voted 23-17 in favour of approving the scheme, which will now go before the Scottish Government for consideration. Denbighshire County Council has secured £1.17m from the Welsh Assembly Government towards the redevelopment of Rhyl's Apollo Cinema.
