Shedd Aquarium upgrades its visitor experience with new Immersion Theater

Shedd Aquarium has opened the Immersion Theater developed in partnership with SimEx-Iwerks, as part of a wider strategy to enhance the guest experience and create additional revenue opportunities.

AV specialist Electrosonic has acquired Global Immersion, a designer of high performance digital immersive theater attractions. The deal, completed yesterday (10 December) will allow Electrosonic to offer digital immersive solutions across the theme park, museum, giant screen cinema and planetarium markets.
