Michaelis Boyd design cantina-style taquerias at Coal Drops Yard

London-based architecture and interior design studio Michaelis Boyd have completed work on Casa Pastor and Plaza Pastor – two interconnected Mexican restaurants at the recently opened retail destination Coal Drops Yard. Arts event at ruined modernist church kickstarts Scotland's Festival of Architecture

The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) will today officially launch its 2016 Festival of Architecture with Hinterland, a night-time public art event held in one of Scotland's most iconic modernist buildings. RIBA and RIAS award winners announced

The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) have revealed the winners of their respective 2013 awards in recognition of architectural achievement. RIBA announced 52 winners in all, 43 from the UK and nine From the EU. These winners will make the shortlist for the prestigious Stirling Prize for best building of the year. Council appoints Parc Eirias contractor

Wynne Construction has been selected by Conwy County Borough Council to build a new multi-purpose indoor facility at Parc Eirias, Colwyn Bay. Work will begin on site next month following the North Wales-based group's appointment, with the construction process expected to take seven months to complete.
