Global design practice Oppenheim Architecture (OA) have completed the Ayla Golf Academy & Clubhouse in Aqaba, Jordan. The 1,200 sq m building, which is situated opposite an 18-hole golf course, designed by Greg Norman, also has putting and swing studios, a pro shop and a gourmet restaurant. Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea in Jordan has unveiled a comprehensive renovation to its 6,000sq m (64,583sq ft) Zara Spa, including a new dedicated Turkish bath area with eight different hammam experiences. A grand hotel considered one of Malta's major landmarks is among a portfolio of properties that will be redeveloped by CampbellGray Hotels as the first of a partnership with Jordanian-based trading company Audeh Group. Rubicon Group Holding (RGH), a Jordan-based diversified entertainment organization, has announced that it has been appointed to design and produce The Red Sea Astrarium (TRSA), a 184-acre themed entertainment resort located in Aqaba, Jordan. The US$1bn (714m euro, £640m) resort will be anchored by a Star Trek theme park, which will be developed by Paramount Recreation.
