Symbolic Caspian Waterfront leisure scheme nears completion in Azerbaijan

Design firm Chapman Taylor are nearing completion on a 120,000sq m (1.3 million sq ft) entertainment, retail, leisure and dining destination in Azerbaijan a stretch of land reclaimed from the Caspian Sea. Luxury hotel interior design studio MKV Design have completed two new hotels in Baku, Azerbaijan, which celebrate the city’s industrial past and its ongoing transformation into a modern, international metropolis. Henry Chebaane has said he drew inspiration from Azerbaijan’s mineral wealth to design JW Marriott Absheron’s new dining establishment OroNero – choosing oil, gold and jewels as a central theme.
