Aman offers consumers wellbeing advice from its in-house experts

by Megan Whitby | 30 Apr 2020

Luxury hotel group Aman is encouraging people to look inwards and focus on wellbeing during lockdown by offering free wellness advice from its global network of healing practitioners.

The content is available for free online and includes movement practices, techniques to focus on wellbeing, skincare advice, recipes, and information on how to use lunar cycles to optimise meditation practice.

In a statement, the company said: “In this time of instability, we believe taking care of our physical selves is integral to finding mental strength and maintaining a sense of calm.”

Aman’s resort in the Dominican Republic, Amanera, is sharing wellbeing advice drawn from its holistic retreats focusing on the healing power of lunar forces and the herbal traditions of the Caribbean's Taíno people.

Amanera’s wellbeing specialist Pilar Fernandez is offering insights into how we can tune into the phases of the moon, letting its natural cycles optimise both meditation practice and nutritional habits.

Acupuncturist and bodywork expert Zoe Nash from Aman’s Greek resort – called Amanzoe – is also offering home-guides for facials, fascia massages, auricular acupuncture and reflexology to help sustain a healthy digestive system and lower blood pressure.

Aman’s Vietnamese resort, Amanoi, spa manager, Shyam Goyal, is providing Kundalini Yoga session guidance, a yoga discipline which believes that disease resistance can be improved by keeping digestion functioning well and the metabolism in balance.

Goyal recommends practising 20 minutes of Kundalini yoga daily to enhance physical and spiritual energy through movement, breathing techniques and meditation.
