Six Senses Yao Noi opens new wellness pavilion, gymnasium and elevated yoga platform
Six Senses Yao Noi in Thailand has added a new wellness pavilion, gymnasium and elevated yoga platform, creating settings for exercise, relaxation and meditation.
The open-air wellness pavilion is equipped with flying yoga hammocks that are used in conjunction with the resort’s yoga classes, and boasts 360-degree views, designed to make guests feel as if they are flying through the jungle. The pavilion will also host thai chi and Pilates classes.
The new gymnasium focuses on functional training and includes both cardio and resistance equipment facing the jungle and pond, designed to create an interaction with nature. The gym also includes functional fitness training with Technogym’s Omnia 8, as well as performance testing with Fusionetics, a sports science platform that helps guests understand, monitor and improve personal fitness levels.
The open-air, elevated yoga platform is located at the top of a small hill in a lush mangrove forest, with a panoramic view of Phang-Nga Bay, allowing guests to listen to the sound of the sea. The resort offers complimentary sunrise yoga on the platform to all guests.
The spa team at Six Senses Yao Noi also provides Six Senses' personalised integrative wellness programmes,
which can be prescribed using the guests' physiological biomarkers during a wellness screening, and focus on nutrition, sleep health, movement, alternative therapies, holistic treatments, yoga, meditation and mindfulness.
