by Jane Kitchen | 10 Jun 2016

Global spa management company Resense is opening new Kempinski The Spa in Fuzhou this month, which is designed to combine high-energy sports and fitness with a luxury spa.

Tailored for the membership market, the 2,200sq m (23,681sq ft) spa will feature five treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art gym with a designated area of High Intensity Interval Training and a team of personal trainers, TRX and boxing facilities.

Membership is designed to attract local residential and corporate market to the spa with individual, couples and family packages available. Membership includes access to the facilities as well as inclusive treatments and personal training sessions. The aim is to create a ‘social’ membership with regular events and classes designed to encourage a club atmosphere.

The spa will also include a 25m (82ft) swimming pool, thermal areas and juice bar. Treatments use Valmont skincare for facials and Primavera for body products.
