First Park Hyatt hotel in the Caribbean to launch on St Kitts
Scheduled to open this summer, Park Hyatt St Kitts combines contemporary architecture with a colonial feel and will be the first Park Hyatt hotel in the Caribbean region.
Designed by GA Design International with architecture services by Arcadia Design, the luxury property consists of 126 rooms and suites, some of which will feature individual rooftop pools with views across the ocean to the island of Nevis.
The mix of contemporary and classic colonial accents including whitewash walls and light wood panelling will be continued through to the spa.
The tranquil space will feature nine treatment rooms, including one outdoors, and will offer body and facial treatments, massage, Watsu therapy, and private yoga and meditation sessions in the shadow of the Sugar Mill.
Set within the Christophe Harbour development on Banana Bay, also on site will be two swimming pools and a 1,750sq ft (162sq m), 24-hour health club, while guests will be able to participate in activities including diving, fishing, snorkelling, yachting and golfing.
