Nuffield Health gyms beef-up beauty offering with new Elemis tie-up
Nuffield Health has chosen luxury British skincare brand Elemis to provide spa and beauty treatments at 22 wellness suites across its UK health club empire.
Nuffield Health believes the collaboration will help to grow its beauty offering for members and non-members alike, as well as bringing a standardised approach to beauty suites across the estate. The company hopes its upgrade will help it compete with the spas of rival health club operators such as Virgin Active and Bannatyne's – which also offers Elemis treatments.
A total of 22 Nuffield Health centres have been selected for the initial roll-out of the new beauty suites, with 10 sites being fully refurbished. These sites will be offering an extensive range of Elemis treatments, including facials, massages, Jessica manicures and pedicures, tanning and waxing. There will also be a range of treatments available for men and pregnant women.
“With more than 25 years’ experience in professional spas, Elemis was a natural choice when we decided to refresh our beauty offering,” said Nuffield Health head of operations Debbie Stillwell-Cox.
“Combining our expertise enables us to provide the best possible treatments to help enhance the body, relieve stress and improve health.”
The deal comes just weeks after Elemis co-founder Noella Gabriel said the brand had entered a new era and would look to branch out as it gears up for its 25th anniversary.
