New rooftop spa to open at Park Lane hotel
A rooftop spa designed by architect Eric Parry is to launch on 1 March at the newly-opened Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane in Mayfair.
Located on the 10th floor of the hotel, the spa will feature nine glass-walled treatment rooms - each including individual relaxation pods. Offering views across the capital, the spa also boasts a double Sky Suite; an Ozone-treated vitality pool; and a fitness centre, as well as the 10th Floor Lounge.
Dark oak and light stone have been used in the design of the spa, which also uses Parry's 'space in the sky' concept to create a "fluid and diaphanous" environment. Products supplied by ESPA, The Organic Pharmacy and Omorovicza will be used across a range of treatments, including the hotel's exclusively-designed signature rituals.
Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane opened its doors on 31 January, and also features the Amaranto dining concept, meeting spaces and the Garden Suite overlooking Hyde Park. General manager John Stauss said: "We're turning the idea of the hotel spa on its head with the upcoming opening of a spa, fitness and lounge area on our top floor."
