Mark Reynolds joins Mosaic Spa & Health Clubs in regional manager role

by Jak Phillips | 15 Apr 2014

Mosaic Spa & Health Clubs has appointed Mark Reynolds to serve as regional manager covering two of the group’s locations – The Shrewsbury Club and Holmer Park Health Club & Spa in Hereford – hoping to harness his 20 years’ worth of industry experience working across three continents.

Reynolds holds a BSc in Sports Science from the University of Birmingham and joins from Bannatyne’s Fitness, where he was general manager at one of the company’s largest sites for nearly four years. Prior to that he spent three years working for Marriott, at the Forest of Eden, where he was director of leisure.

"Mark’s role will be to oversee the operational and financial functions across both stand-alone sites," said Mosaic Spa and Health Clubs managing director Dave Courteen.

"Whilst both clubs have evolved separately and have their own personalities, as a company, our aim is to consistently deliver the same high standards across all of our businesses."

Reynolds first joined the leisure and fitness industry in 1994 when he worked for Fitness Express during university holidays. After graduating, he travelled to Hong Kong to work in a luxury health club before returning to London to join Topnotch Health Clubs. He later went travelling again, this time to Australia, where he worked for Next Generation and Fitness First.
