MSpa international names Zoe Wall as new group director of Asian operations
Spa industry veteran Zoe Wall has been appointed the new group director of spa, Asia at spa management company MSpa International.
In her new role, she will be tasked with leading MSpa’s regional operations in the fast-growing Asian market. She will be responsible for setting and implementing MSpa’s business strategy in the region, developing brand pillars and wellness programmes, as well as for the overall performance of spas, including all pre-opening and expansion activities.
MSpa is the spa management arm of Thailand-based Minor Hotels Group.
Thomas B. Meier, Minor Hotels’ senior vice president of operations, Asia, said: “Zoe’s track record speaks for itself and we look forward to the successes she will bring in driving revenue, marketing, and the launch of more wellness programmes.”
Wall began her career working in onboard spas with Steiner – the world’s largest operator of spas at seas. In 2008 she moved to Dubai, where she was part of the pre-opening team of the spa at Atlantis The Palm.
In 2013, she joined Anantara Hotels & Resorts – one of Minor’s brands – as spa director in Dubai.
During her stint at Anantara, she launched spas at Anantara The Palm Dubai and Banana Island Resort in Doha and was also responsible for operations at the Anantara Spa at Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara.
Patrick Huey – who was formerly group director of spa, Asia, for Minor Hotels – has taken on a new position as corporate spa director at Montage International in California.
