IHRSA 2016 kicks off in Orlando
IHRSA 2016 gets underway today (21 March) in Orlando, Florida, with a jam-packed schedule for the four-day international fitness event.
Running from 21-24 March, the 35th annual IHRSA Trade Show is the first to take place in Orlando and is expected to attract more than 10,000 fitness industry professionals, as well as 350 exhibitors.
Randi Zuckerburg is set to star as a keynote speaker for IHRSA 2016 and will offer insight on 'the most exciting trends that can add value to a business.'
Zuckerburg, who is the sister of Facebook founder Mark, is an author, journalist and the CEO of Zuckerberg Media – which produces content for clients including The Clinton Global Initiative, Cirque du Soleil and the United Nations.
The 23 March (8:30am EST) keynote from Zuckerburg – “It’s Dot Complicated: Exciting Trends Impacting Your Business” – will explore 10 of the most exciting trends in tech/business/leadership/entrepreneurship that she believes are key to building a successful, sustainable business.
Zuckerburg will follow in the footsteps of journalist and tech titan Arianna Huffington, who lit up the show last year with her keynote on how employee wellbeing is key to a business’s bottom line.
Also on the programme for IHRSA 2016 are keynotes from best-selling business authors Jay Baer, Greg McKeown and Nir Eyal.
In addition, convention attendees can look forward to a number of receptions and networking events, plus more than 150 educational offerings categorised into 11 targeted tracks. These will include annual events such as the IHRSA Financial Panel; the Women’s Leadership Summit; the IHRSA Health Promotion & Wellness Track, the Bash for Augie’s Quest, and special events for industry leaders such as the Global Leadership Summit.
