Humana to offer Wellness 365 gift cards as incentive for healthy lifestyle choices
Humana is offering Corporate Wellness 365 gift cards through its HumanaVitality wellness and loyalty programme to incentivise members to make healthy lifestyle choices.
Corporate Wellness 365 is a division of Spafinder Wellness Inc., and the gift cards can be used at more than 24,000 wellness providers worldwide – including 8,500 spas – for services including massage, nutrition counselling, yoga, and tai chi.
HumanaVitality chief of product innovation Stuart Slutsky said the gift cards align with the company’s objective to provide incentives that help members make healthy choices to achieve lifelong wellbeing.
“Incentives drive behaviour change, and the programmes and services available through these gift cards will be a powerful part of our inventive mix,” said Slutsky.
Members can earn points towards these incentives by participating in healthy activities such as wearing an activity tracker, participating in sports, or even giving blood.
The partnership has huge potential: of Humana’s 30 million policy holders, three million participate in the HumanaVitality programme. Steve Kane, Spafinder Wellness group president, gift sales and business development, said the company is excited about the partnership’s potential to connect “millions of people” to its network of wellness professionals.
