Universal reveals revamped Hulk coaster
Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure has offered a sneak peek at the multi-million dollar revamp of its Incredible Hulk rollercoaster, with the popular marvel character’s eyes seemingly ready to light up the Orlando night skies as it prepares to take flight.
The five-second teaser, released by Universal via its social media channels told its followers to “stay tuned”, using the hashtag #HulkOut. With an emphasis placed on the reimagined ride’s bright LED lights, the modernised Hulk coaster has been rumoured for a 24 June opening, though Universal is yet to confirm the exact date.

Universal also revealed new details about the ride, which starts with a sleek, modern new look. The ride cars now feature an in-seat audio system playing an original ride score created by Patrick Stump, front man for Fall Out Boy.
The distinctive green rollercoaster has been a mainstay at the park when it opened in 1999. Universal closed the ride in September for its refurbishment. The track shape and fast-launch of the ride will remain the same, but the new storyline and new ride vehicles will create brand new experience and a smoother ride.
