Fusion Lifestyle attracts top talent to bolster management team
Two new recruits from leisure giants David Lloyd Leisure and Virgin Active have joined London-based chairty Fusion Lifestyle’s business management team.
Following a strong 2013, the company has brought in Ian Cooper as regional business manager and Stephen Wren as divisional business manager to drive standards and deliver a private sector know-how at affordable prices.
This year looks set to be another crucial 12 months for the leisure operator, with over £20m of investment being put in to the redevelopment of facilities across Haringey and Braintree.
Cooper was a regional manager Virgin Active, responsible for their Classic Clubs, and will oversee one third of Fusion’s estate in his new role.
“The aspect I’m looking forward to most in my role is leading, motivating and inspiring high-performing divisional teams, which in turn will provide outstanding facilities within the community,” said Cooper.
Meanwhile, Wren, a life-long fitness enthusiast, arrives after working as an area manager for David Lloyd Leisure. He has been working in the industry for 17 years and has a strong record in marketing, sales, project and operational management. His role will involve the overseeing of commercial and operational activity for the Southwark division of Fusion’s portfolio.
“I enjoy interacting with people at all levels and driving both motivation and confidence within my teams,” said Wren.
“I’m hoping my passion for the fitness industry will help to drive our business goals at Fusion in 2014 and beyond.”
