Four Seasons brings Hawaii to people at home

by Megan Whitby | 17 Apr 2020

Four Seasons Resorts Hawaii are working with master craftspeople to create a series of at-home experiences designed to transport guests to the islands.

The five Hawaiian resorts across four islands invite guests to take a few minutes to reconnect with Hawaii.

These experiences have been designed to bring Hawaii into the homes of former guests, and inspire them to access some of the many benefits of travel even from thousands of miles away.

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai has unveiled an at-home Niu Bath Treatment recipe made with coconuts, designed by spa director Cecilia Hercik, inspired by Hualalai’s spa menu rooted in ancient local healing traditions using natural local ingredients to connect guests to Hawaii.

The team at Sensei Lanai, A Four Seasons Resort, is offering guidance on using journaling and meditation during the pandemic to provide an opportunity for self-reflection. The resort has made a list to prompt people through their mindfulness journey by tracking patterns in health, monitoring learnings and acknowledging feelings.

In a statement, the company announced that: “Every week our #HawaiibyFS ohana (family) will do its part in spreading aloha to the world through virtual inspiration from our islands.”

Four Seasons’ Hawaiian flagship, Four Seasons Resort Maui, has released the recipe for a Chocolate Avocado Mousse, while Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina has revealed a DIY-version of its Tranquiliser cocktail – a drink that’s been created to remind people of the typical tastes and smells of Hawaii.

Four Seasons digital wellness offering is also extending to fitness, as the brand is releasing digital at-home fitness content called Fit with Four Seasons, led by fitness expert and celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak, available for free on Four Seasons website.
