F45 hits European milestone in expansion push – secures sites in three new countries
Australian-based fitness franchise F45 has continued its global expansion, reaching a milestone of securing deals for 100 studios in Europe.
The operator has a presence in nine European countries – the UK, Ireland, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Israel and Finland – and revealed it has deals in place to enter three more.
In August, the company opened European headquarters in Central London, tasked with supporting existing European and UK franchises, as well as help the brand's growth plans even further.
"We are overwhelmed by the reaction to F45 and the rate in which the brand has grown in the UK and Europe over the last two years," said Luke Armstrong, global sales director of F45.
"There are huge growth opportunities for us in Europe and we continue to work tirelessly to create a truly revolutionary and innovative brand that can flourish in every European country, as well as on a global level”.
Armstrong added that the expansion shows "no signs of slowing down", and the company predicts to sell 185 studios in 2019, followed by a further 350 in 2020.
Founded by former equities trader Rob Deutsch, F45 has grown rapidly and currently has more than 1,300 locations worldwide.
