DNA Health Corp to debut Integrative Medicine & Wellness centre in Abu Dhabi in May
America's DNA Health Corp is set to unveil its first integrative medicine and wellness centre on Abu Dhabi's Saadiyat Island next month.
The ethos of the DNA Centre for Integrative Medicine & Wellness is to transform the current health paradigm from solely treating illness to an integrative 21st century model of preventive care, wellness and healthy aging.
Set within The Collection complex of the five-star St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort Abu Dhabi, the centre offers professional medical and naturopathic specialists, a discretionary service, secluded consultation rooms and private VIP access.
DNA's health and wellness programmes are based on a holistic approach, Western medicine, advanced diagnostics and clinical therapies, blended with centuries-old Eastern healing traditions and philosophies.
The integrative medicine approach aims to focus on treating the person as a whole - combining mind, body and spirit - rather than solely managing chronic disease by treating separate symptoms.
The core treatment programmes will include: Optimal Health & Wellness; Cardiovascular Risk Reduction; Diabetes Prevention and Management; Rehabilitation and Injury Management; Arthritis and Joint Regeneration; Chronic Pain Treatment and Fibromyalgia; Metabolic Syndrome through FirstLine Therapy; and Healthy Weight Loss and Body Composition.
The portfolio of non-invasive bio-aesthetics therapies has been exclusively designed and developed for DNA by bio-aesthetician Jamie Sherrill, whose clients include actresses such as Kirsten Dunst, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jessica Alba. Sherrill is set to brings her signature treatments, products and expertise to the region for the very first time, exclusive to DNA.
There will also be programmes tailored to target allergy and auto-immune reduction, advanced cleansing and metabolic detoxification, chronic gastrointestinal disorders and digestive support
The over all focus is to empower individuals to take responsibility for managing their own illness, in partnership with their practitioners, who serve as guides to assist them in the their journey towards healing.
