Tameside to open first part of £20m project

by Deven Pamben | 16 Nov 2016

Tameside’s first trampoline park will open its doors on Saturday (Nov 19) as part of a £20million investment project to get people more physically active.

Total Adrenaline has three zones; trampoline, laser zone and iPlay. The trampoline area includes rings, balance beams and a foam pit.

The attraction is part of Active Tameside and Tameside Council’s wider investment, which will also see a new 25metre pool opened at Active Hyde, a 24/7 iTrain gym to open in January and a new wellness centre in Denton.

Food will be provided by onsite café Obson & Co. which was involved with the nutrition for the Paralympic swimming team.

Mark Tweedie, Active Tameside chief executive, said: “We are really excited to open Total Adrenaline part of an exciting £20m facility investment plan in partnership with Tameside Council. With our three zones there really is something for everyone. It’s a great addition to our other attractions, Sky High Adventure and Hyde Leisure Pool, giving families a variety of options to have fun and get active.”

Coronation Street star Samia Ghadie who plays Maria Connor, her husband Dancing on Ice’s Sylvain Longchambon, and their two children, who will be attending the opening on Saturday.
