Snøhetta exhibit examines art, culture and landscape
Snøhetta has debuted a temporary exhibition at Copenhagen's Danish Architecture Centre, examining the firm’s connection to art, culture and landscape.
As part of an exhibition series, World Architecture – Snøhetta opened to the public on 18 June and will run until 27 September 2015. Visitors can look into the process behind Snøhetta’s works, as well as see the new material possibilities brought about by modern technology.
The experience offers a first-hand look at the architecture firm’s workshop process, allows visitors to meet the people behind the work and learn about 220 Snøhetta projects being displayed at the centre.
“The background for this exhibition is quite simple: Snøhetta is one of the best design firms in the world right now,” said Martin Winther, head of experience communication at the Danish Architecture Centre. “We witness this in their incredible work and in the special energy and atmosphere that characterise their offices. We are very excited to invite visitors into Snøhetta’s world for an intimate encounter with the people and the unique, human, generous, inclusive approach that results in such fantastic work.”
