Huge nature and recreation development planned for Brisbane wetlands

Plans have been revealed by Brisbane City Council for a 150ha (16 million sq ft) wetlands development in the city that will include a community hub, walking routes, events spaces and canoe and kayak facilities. Cork City Council (CCC) has appointed OKRA and REDScape to work on the design of a new city park development surrounding the Irish city's Páirc Uí Chaoimh stadium. It is hoped the project will act as a catalyst in the revitalisation of Cork's Docklands, with an extensive series of urban water gardens and wetland areas to create sustainable parklands.
