Heritage Lottery Fund dishes out £11.3m to Buxton Crescent Hotel and Thermal Spa

The Heritage Lottery Fund has pledged a further £11.3m (US$18m, €14m) towards the scheme to redevelop Buxton Crescent and Thermal Spa, in addition to the £12.5m (US$20.5m, €14.9m) it awarded the project in 2006. The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) has awarded a £4.42m (US$7.4m, €5.4m) grant to restore Pitzhanger Manor, West London, to turn it into a tourist attraction. Cambridge University’s Museum of Zoology is to undergo a complete redevelopment after receiving a grant of £1.8m ($3m €2.2m) from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).
